We offer thousands of books, magazines, DVDs, and more. We also have a local history section, including a microfilm collection of past Caledonia newspapers. We offer regular programming to our patrons, from birth to adult.

We are also connected to SELCO (Southeast Libraries Cooperating), one of Minnesota’s 12 regional public library systems. We have access to over 3.5 million items within the system and even more statewide.

At the Caledonia Public Library, we connect residents with the world through wifi and public computers, with materials from around the state and with others in the community. We seek to enrich the lives of our patrons from birth to adult with programs to encourage early literacy, improve digital literacy and more. We hope to inspire all those who come through our doors to be lifelong learners.

The day-to-day operations of the Caledonia Public Library are controlled by the Caledonia Library Board (as required by Minnesota Statutes § 134.11.) The Library Board has exclusive control over expenditures, hours, personnel matters, and policies and procedures. Members of the Library Board are appointed by the mayor with approval of the City Council.
