The City of Caledonia in partnership with Richard’s Sanitation will be implementing a recycling and garbage tote/cart system effective August 1, 2022. Each resident will receive a 65 gallon tote for trash which will be picked up weekly and a 95 gallon tote for recycling that will be picked up bi-weekly. This will eliminate the use of Richard’s Sanitation yellow bags. Residents will still be asked to place garbage in a bag (that of their preference) prior to placing it in the garbage tote. Recycle and Garbage totes will be delivered the last two weeks of July. Residents should begin using them August 1.
