The City of Caledonia is accepting applications for lifeguards, managers, and assistant managers for the Caledonia Aquatic Center 2024 summer pool season (June-August). Pay for lifeguards is at least $12.75/hour; pay for assistant manager is at least $13.75/hour. Additional pay of $1.00/hour for WSI certification; additional $.25/hour for every year of lifeguarding experience up to eight years. Lifeguards and assistant managers must have first aid and CPR certification as well as certification as lifeguard. In addition, end of season incentive pay will be available along with reimbursement for cost of lifeguard/first aid/CPR and WSI certification courses. Sample duties of assistant manager include assisting with scheduling lifeguards and swimming lessons, verifying water quality, and managing and coordinating operations of the Caledonia Aquatic Center.
