The City of Caledonia is accepting applications for a summer baseball manager. The manager will administer the City’s baseball program for children ages 7-14. Typical duties will include the following: overseeing player registrations; organizing teams and coaches; purchasing equipment; and scheduling games, practices, and umpires. Additional duties may include preparing fields for games, coaching, and serving as an umpire. This position may require attendance at daytime and evening practices and games. This seasonal position will last from late March 2024 through early August 2024 and will average 20 hours per week. Minimum requirements include a valid driver’s license and experience playing or coaching baseball.
