The City of Caledonia is seeking residents to serve as election judges in 2022. There are three elections scheduled for 2022: Special Election (US Congressional District 1) May 24, Primary Election Day August 9, and General Election Day November 8.

Judges receive training in various duties including: greeting and registering voters, providing ballots, assisting voters as needed, overseeing ballot-counting machines, and compiling precinct voter statistics at the end of Election Day.

In Caledonia, Election Judges are paid $13.00  an hour. Election judges are granted time off from work by law. Potential judges must be eligible to vote in Minnesota; be able to read, write, and speak English; and attend a training session provided by local election officials.
